 Adar Gandelsman (Hebrew Adr gndlsmn) is an Israeli beauty pageant titleholder and model. She was Miss Israel 2017's runner-up and was named Miss Universe Israel. Adar was a part of the Miss Universe 2017 Pageant in Las Vegas but didn't place. The pageant was a success, and Gandelsman snapped a photo with Sarah Idan, Miss Universe Iraq that year. In December of 2017, Idan and her family fled Iraq in protest at the Iraqi citizens over her pose for a picture with Miss Israel who had also been a member of the Israel Defense Forces at the time.
