 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress, comedian, activist) is a comedian. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents She began her career as a child performer soon after her move to the United States. Her most well-known work is her appearances on AT&T commercials on television. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and in 2020 (since 2020 (from). She also was a regular series regular on Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and played a part in a recurring role in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). After being cast in the TV pilot unaired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also is the voice of Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was Jewish and born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. At two years of age her parents and she relocated to the U.S. as refugees to escape antisemitism, settling in West Hollywood. She began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five due to the family's financial troubles. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. But she dropped out of school after her sophomore years. She earned an GED and then was able to earn a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from the University of California San Diego. With the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied Improv comedy.
